The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of school geography education based on the post-anthropocentric perspective in the Anthropocene. To this end, it looks at the characteristics and perspectives of the Anthropocene that the ecological crisis comes from human activities that have become a geological force that has a decisive impact on global environmental change. Next, it examines the conflicting perspectives surrounding the Anthropocene. The Anthropocenic perspective that humans have come to have geological power requires a new perception of the human-nature relationship. In this respect, it discusses the need for a turn in perception of the human-nature relationship based on post-anthropocentrism in order to overcome the Anthropocene ecological crisis. In the era of ecological catastrophe of the Anthropocene, geography inquiry topics which can investigate the meaning of school geography education based on the post-anthropocentric perspective, will be discussed at the social, political, economic, and emotional dimensions.
